Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ConvertResize.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

ConvertResize provides free online file conversion, editing, and utility tools. File processing tools (image, audio, GIF, and ZIP tools) run directly in your browser, and your files are never uploaded to our servers. A small number of lookup tools make server-side API calls to retrieve public data.

Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process files you don't have the right to use
• Create, store, or send malware, or use any tool to hide harmful or illegal content
• Use encrypted archives to get around email filters, virus scanners, or other security checks
• Attempt to interfere with or overload the Service, including its lookup tools
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service or to run lookups beyond normal personal use
• Attempt to circumvent any security features or rate limits of the Service

Your Files and Your Responsibility

File tools run on your own device. We never receive, see, or store the files you process, the passwords you enter, or the results you download. You are solely responsible for the files you process, for having the right to use them, and for keeping backups of your originals. Keep your original files until you have checked that the result is what you need.

Password Protected ZIP and Other Security Features

The Password Protected ZIP tool, and any other feature that encrypts or protects files, is provided for convenience and everyday privacy. You use these features entirely at your own risk.

• No recovery. Your password never leaves your device and is never sent to us, so we cannot recover a forgotten password or open an archive for you. If you lose the password, you lose access to the files inside.
• Compatible mode is basic protection. It uses standard ZIP 2.0 encryption (ZipCrypto), which has known weaknesses and can be broken by a determined attacker. It is meant to keep files away from casual access, not to protect valuable secrets.
• AES-256 mode is stronger, not guaranteed. Its protection depends on the strength of your password and on how you share the archive and the password.
• File names are not hidden. ZIP encryption protects the contents of your files, not the names of the files inside the archive.
• Check before you delete. Open the archive with your password and confirm your files are intact before deleting the originals.
• Not certified for regulated data. We make no promise that these tools meet the security requirements of any law, regulation, employer, or contract, including rules for health, financial, legal, or government information. You are responsible for deciding whether they are suitable for your files.

Before creating a protected ZIP, you must confirm that you understand and agree to this section. ConvertResize is not liable for lost or inaccessible data, archives that cannot be opened, or access to an archive by anyone else.

Lookup Tools

The Minecraft UUID Lookup, Steam ID Finder, Roblox User ID Finder, Roblox Asset ID Lookup, and YouTube Channel ID Finder return public information from Mojang, Valve, Roblox, and YouTube. That information belongs to those platforms and their users, may be incomplete or out of date, and can change or become unavailable at any time. We do not guarantee that any lookup will work or that its results are accurate.

The YouTube Channel ID Finder uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ConvertResize and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy or republish the site's content or tools without written permission.

Files you process through our tools remain your property. We do not claim any ownership or rights to your files.

Trademarks

Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios and Microsoft. Steam is a trademark of Valve Corporation. Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc. ConvertResize is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and every tool on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Conversions, edits, or lookup results will be accurate, complete, or reliable
• Output files will be free of errors, corruption, or loss of quality
• Encrypted or password-protected files will be safe from unauthorized access

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConvertResize and its owner, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, without limitation, damages for lost or corrupted files, forgotten passwords, archives that cannot be opened, unauthorized access to your files, security breaches, errors in lookup results, lost profits, or any other loss, even if we have been told such damages are possible. Where the law does not allow some of these limits, our liability is limited to the greatest extent the law permits.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ConvertResize and its owner, operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of anyone else's rights.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the date at the top shows the latest version. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in effect.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
